What's the Hardest Part About Homeschooling?
Finding the right curriculum.
Determining your child's learning style.
Deciding on which homeschool approach you want to pursue.
Working out a schedule.
Surviving on one income.
Keeping the house clean while trying to school the kids.
If you're just starting out homeschooling, you will anticipate that one or more of the above will be difficult for you.
Reality is, though, that your biggest hurdle to homeschooling is the same hurdle that non-homeschooling families face -- peace in the home.
Finding the right curriculum. Determining your child's learning style. Deciding on which homeschool approach you want to pursue. Working out a schedule. Surviving on one income. Keeping the house clean while trying to school the kids. All a piece of cake compared with the challange of giving your children the basic tools to maintain peace in the home.
That's why you're going to want to come to the 2012 Illinois Christian Home Educators State Convention and hear keynote speaker Larry Guthrie. He'll be speaking eight times. So you have eight chances to learn about some of those tools and pass them on to your kids.
