The ICHE Convention. Such memorable words. Words that any homeschooler would know. Words that reminded me of the joys I have had serving in years past.
by Morgan Dowell
You are a homeschooler if: (Fill in the blank).
You are a Christian if: (Fill in the blank).
Stereotypes: we all have them, but do they really describe you?
Think about it--what really makes you who you are?
Your family and life experiences all have their effect, yet they are only pieces to the puzzle.
What defines your life?
As I think back over Convention weekend, I wonder how often we let our situations in life stipulate who we are instead of God.
Flat Stanley's highlight of the day was meeting Joaquin Fernandez and his son.
Mr. Fernandez even spoke some Spanish to him! (Though Stanley had no clue what he said!)
Stanley attended Linda Hobar's workshop entitled, "Bad Boys of the 20th Century!" And who did he see?
Yikes! He heard the tale of Adolf Hitler!
Whew! Though the stories were interesting, Stanley decided "Fly, Fly, Away" with Angela Beddingfield suited him better.
