Volunteer Wanted: Website Administrator

ICHE is seeking a Website Administrator to join our growing team of key volunteers.  Over the past two years we have worked with a professional web design company to bring a completely new website online.  We now have a need to find a person who can work with ICHE long term to improve and maintain the website.

This position requires primarily organization, administration, and communication.  Technical or artistic skills are secondary, but would certainly be of added benefit.

The Website Administrator would be responsible for proofreading and editing content for our site, and working closely with our graphic designer and web programmer to keep the site updated.  Immediate projects include the need to review online articles in ICHE’s information database, and adding information to the site to promote upcoming events.

The technology team at ICHE already includes a professional graphic designer and a company that handles programming and structural components of the website.  We do not need computer programmers or designers, but those skills may complement the role.  The primary areas of responsibility will involve overseeing the communications necessary to keep our website up-to-date and functioning well.  ICHE also maintains connections with many volunteers who are skilled in certain areas that can complement the work done on our site, and this Website Administrator would be the primary point of communication for those volunteers.
