An MP3 download is an audio file that can be downloaded directly to your computer. You can get your audio file more quickly and more cost-effectively than ordering a CD, since an MP3 file does not have to be mailed.
When can I get my MP3 download?
If you pay with a credit card you can access your MP3 download immediately by logging into your account. If you pay by check we will send you an email notification that your download is available after we receive your check. You will want to make sure your email’s spam blocker does not filter out our email.
Log into your account to get your downloads. Go to the “File” tab in your account and click on the appropriate link. After clicking on a link you may be asked if you want to “Save” or “Open” the file. It is important that you select “Save File,” which will transfer the file directly to your computer. This transfer will not occur if you select “Open File,” which means you will not be able to access your file later. Be aware that some browsers do not give you an option but instead automatically choose “Save” for you.
If you are using Internet Explorer, you will see a standard “Save As” box that allows you to select the folder where you want your file to go. Pay attention to which folder you choose before clicking “Save.”
If you are using Firefox the default setting is to save your files to your “Downloads” folder.
I downloaded my file but I don’t know where it went.
Most likely, the default setting in your browser has been changed. Check the settings to determine the folder that was used.
If you are still having trouble locating the file you can re-download it, paying attention to where the browser put it, or you can do a search for the file. Please do not call for assistance as our staff will not know how you have configured your browser.
What is the difference between an Audio CD and a Data CD?
An Audio CD will play in your computer as well as in a standard audio CD player. A Data CD will only play in your computer and can contain files other than audio files such as a Read Me usage instruction sheet or other documents.
How do I use my Data CD on a Windows PC?
- Insert the disk into the CD-ROM drive on your computer.
- Select “Open Folder to View Files.”
- Save the files to your computer by clicking and dragging the files from the CD folder to a folder where you would like to save them (do not attempt to play or view the files from the CD directly). Do not be concerned if you cannot recognize a talk from its file name. You will be able to see both the talk title and speaker name in your media player.
- Open your media player (iTunes or Windows Media Player), and drag the files from where you stored them on your computer into the player window. You will now be able to see each talk title and speaker name and select one for listening.
How do I use my Data CD on a Mac?
- Insert the disk into the CD-ROM drive on your computer.
- A CD icon will appear on your desktop. Double-click this icon to display the contents of the disk.
- Copy the files onto your computer by clicking and dragging the files into a folder where you want to store your audio files. Remove the CD and then drag the audio files into iTunes.
- iTunes will automatically add the files to your music library where you will be able to see each talk title and speaker name and select one for listening.
What do the file names and numbers on my Data CD mean?
Talk titles are not always unique so we provide each talk with an identification number. When your talk is placed into your media player, you will be able to see the talk title and speaker name.
What happens to my credit card number? Is it stored?
For online orders: Your credit card information goes directly to your credit card company which provides us with a transaction identification number. It is this number we use to process your purchase.
For telephone orders: Our staff will enter your credit card information directly into the computer. They are not permitted to write down the number, so once the order is submitted they no longer have access to the credit card number and your purchase will be handled by the transaction identification number provided to us by your credit card company.

Are my Username and Password case sensitive?
Usernames are not case sensitive. Passwords are case sensitive.
How do I get my MP3 into iTunes?
Using your mouse, you can click and drag your MP3 from your computer directly into iTunes. Do not click and drag an MP3 file into iTunes from a data CD. First move the file from the data CD to your computer.
Can I make copies of the material?
The copyright on your material allows you to do the following:
- Install the material on multiple computers within your home for the personal use of your immediate family.
- Play the material in a small group setting.
- Loan a single Audio CD copy to a single friend at any one time.
- Transfer ownership of your data CD to a third party provided you retain no physical copies of the material and you have removed any and all electronic copies from all the computers in your home.
- Incorporate the material into a lending library where, for each talk, no more than a single Audio CD exists for sharing. Listeners must be clearly instructed they are not permitted to copy and/or retain a copy of the CD when returning it to the library. MP3 files cannot be distributed.
Examples of Copyright Violations include but are not limited to:
- Making multiple copies of the material contrary to the scenarios described above.
- Copying the MP3 files onto one or more computers or electronic devices outside your immediate family without removing all the files from your own computers and destroying any CD copy.
- Distributing the material through file-sharing programs.
We normally process orders in 48 hours and it can then take three days to two weeks to arrive depending on your location and the shipping method selected. International orders usually take longer.
You can log into your account at any time to see the status of your order and when your order shipped.
You can search the catalog by clicking on the various links that will allow you to narrow down to more specific products.
You can also use the search box at the top of the screen. Try using multiple words in the search box at the same time. You can use a plus sign to require a word in your search, use a minus sign to exclude a word from your search, and use quotes to specify for an exact phrase. If you know the speaker’s name, include that in the search box as well.
You can also filter your search results by date, keyword, and other options provided for you.
