ICHE encourages you to learn the Facts when it comes to homeschooling. We realize there are a multitude of opinions about educational choices. While ICHE believes that homeschooling is a sound Biblical option, we do not want people to make that choice blindly. We believe that parents need to do their homework, too! Having the right information will not only help parents to make wise choices, but it will also help dispel many of the myths and stereotypes that remain prevalent in our modern culture. While statistical studies of homeschool student performance are still relatively new, they are consistently showing superior performance on traditional measures of academic performance. One recent example showed that homeschool students now enrolled in college had statistically higher ACT scores, Grade Point Averages, and graduation rates. |
