Dear Support Group Leaders,

Throughout Illinois there are over 130 support groups listed with Illinois Christian Home Educators. This has been a vital network for the beginners as well as veteran home educators. It is the desire of ICHE to refer inquiring families to support groups whose leadership is distinctly Christian. Therefore, all support groups listed with us have signed a statement of Christian faith. ICHE is so grateful for the men and women who are willing to give of themselves as an oasis to those on the path of home education.

Our desire is to be a resource to you as you serve others in your group. Each year over 100 leaders get together during the first weekend of February for our annual Leadership Conference. This is a wonderful get-away weekend for couples to attend together! We hope that your support group will see this conference as a blessing to them. By sending you to be refreshed and equipped they will reap the benefits of what God does in your life during this time. Leaders of support groups currently listed with us should watch their mail for the pink registration form and conference information that is mailed to them in November each year.

The board members and their families are another resource, they are available to speak to your support group on a variety of topics.
