Kirk Smith

Husband to Joely and father of eleven children, Kirk joined the ICHE family as Executive Director in February of 2013. Previously he founded the House of Prayer in Albion, IL in 1986 where he pastored for 24 years. After almost 20 years of homeschooling, Kirk’s passion is to communicate the importance of the home discipleship model of education and to transfer to the next generation of homeschoolers the conviction that knowledge and wisdom come from the fear of the Lord. Kirk and Joely live on a farm outside the small southern IL town of Bone Gap.
